"As a first-time home buyer, I found the process intimidating and confusing. On Sundays, I would go to open houses to see what I liked and did not like in a home. After a few months of looking, I decided I wanted to get serious about finding a home. Without knowing anybody in the real estate profession, I felt uncertain about who to trust.
