Good Morning America’s Susanna Kim reported this month on the Top 10 Real Estate Buyers’ Markets in the United States. Taking the 50 largest metropolitan areas, cities were ranked using a number of criteria including the Sale-to-List price ratio, percentage of homes with price cuts and the median home value of the city. Milwaukee’s Buyers’ Market Index Value positioned the city second, falling just short of our southern neighbor Chicago at number one. See below for Milwaukee’s stats.
- Sale-to-List Price Ratio: 0.9488
- Homes with Price Cuts: 39.7%
- Median Home Value: $165,800
The rest of the top five includes #3 Cleveland, Ohio, #4 New York City, and #5 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
