My Best Advice to Veterans Buying Homes — A Letter from John Inzeo, Vice President of Wisconsin Mortgage Corporation

As we celebrated Veterans Day in November, we have had ample opportunities to reflect on the men and women who have served our country and preserved our freedoms. Past, present and future Veteran’s deserve our never-ending support as we welcome them back into the fabric of our great society.

I have been struck at the number of commercials I have seen or heard targeting Veterans for financial services. Here at Wisconsin Mortgage Corporation, we take pride in having assisted many Veterans acquiring financing through the Federal VA program during our 31-year history. Our mission has been clear: do whatever we can to take care of the Veteran.

However, some industry partners are not living the same mission. We have had the opportunity to compare costs of acquiring a Federal VA Loan with other lenders. The results were a bit shocking, as we found our costs to be thousands of dollars less. We also noticed we still have the lowest closing costs in the nation.

My advice to Veterans purchasing a home is to take the time and shop around. Compare each and every VA program. Make sure your lender can explain ALL costs, even those financed into your loan and answer all of your questions. Above all, if you don’t feel comfortable, find a new lender.

Wisconsin Mortgage Corporation will do an honest comparison of any offer you have for a Federal VA Loan. We will take the time to explain ALL costs and answer each and every question, in terms you can understand. When we thank you for your service, you should expect and receive superior service.

Visit us today and contact one of our Loan Officers. Thanking you for your service means we pledge the best of our service to you.
